Just about all of us experience some level of anxiety
at times. Anxiety ranges from mild to severe. We might experience restlessness, lack of focus, jumpiness, uneasiness, racing
thoughts, all the way to feelings of panic when the heart races and we feel certain that there is going to be an immediate
disaster. Like all the emotions, anxiety can be helpful to alert us to matters that need attention, but all too often, it
is nearly impossible to stop the racing thoughts, sleepless nights and stress in our bodies. Therapy can be very helpful for
anxiety because special care can be taken to understand the nature of the anxiety so that it can be effectively treated.
